Background and Experience

Mr Beckstrom is the newest partner of the firm. Mr. Beckstrom’s practice is focused primarily on civil litigation, construction law, real estate law, and business law.

Mr. Beckstrom represents many contractors throughout Southern Utah and Nevada. He counsels such contractors on all aspects of their businesses, including compliance with local, state, and federal law. Additionally, Mr. Beckstrom spends a large amount of his time representing contractor’s in many different types of civil litigation actions, including mechanic’s lien actions, collections, construction defect case, and other cases.

Furthermore, Mr. Beckstrom advises clients on all aspects of their business, with a strong emphasis on business formation and planning as well as contract law and UCC/Commercial law. Mr. Beckstrom has also represented many business clients in creditor relation matters in both state and federal bankruptcy court.

Before beginning the practice of law, Mr. Beckstrom worked for several years in the construction field, focusing primarily on residential framing construction. Mr. Beckstrom graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law, where he received numerous honors. Mr. Beckstrom graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law cum laude, and graduated in the top 10% of his graduating class. Mr. Beckstrom served as the Vice-President (2000-2001) and President (2001-2002) of the Idaho Sports Law Association. Finally, Mr. Beckstrom was a founding executive officer of the Idaho Innocence Project (2002).

When Mr. Beckstrom is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. Additionally, Mr. Beckstrom enjoys fishing, golfing, and soccer. He plays competitive soccer and volunteers his time as a soccer coach for youth soccer teams.
